hibernation

Well-

Now that christmas has come and gone, we are going to be going into hibernation for a couple weeks at least. Eisenhauer will be reconviening in mid January to write a couple more songs and start on pre-production for our new full length album. We have a hand-full of songs ready to go, but we have a bunch of ironing out to do on some of the other songs.

We have ONE very important show in Vancouver in February... the 27th I think, at The Railway Club. It's a really great little venue in downtown Vancouver and we've wanted to play there for a long time. So if you are interested in coming to that show, GREAT! All the details will be hashed out soon and we will post them here, or on our myspace.

Anyways, thank you so much for stopping by and checking out the new news. We are really happy with how things turned out with our Christmas album. The tour was such a blast from start to finish, and all the shows in Vancouver were just so much fun... (thanks to Pacific Theatre/Christmas Presence, Abby and all your roommates and Wired Monk in Kits and anyone else who gave us shows or let us sleep in there house (Szabo's, Odegards, Aunty Plett's, Lindsey in Calgary)).

Thanks again, and feel free to send us an email if you want us to play a show near you, or if you want details on shows that are forthcoming.

NEW CHRISTMAS ALBUM! (and more touring)

Seasons Greetings from Eisenhauer and Sheree Plett!

Just kidding. It's far too early for talk like that... Or is it?

This is a friendly update to inform you all on some exciting news for us. This past month, Eisenhauer (well, more so just me... Jeremy Eisenhauer) went into Buena Vista Audio in Langley, BC to record a Christmas album with my wife Sheree Plett, and our good friend Jon Anderson. It's the first compilation album that Sheree and I have ever done, and we're really excited about it!

We started and finished the recording in 2 days, and by the time we were done had 8 songs, 5 originals and 3 classic Christmas cover tunes. The album is called 'Lights Used to Shine' and it's due out as of Tuesday, November 27th. AND with the release of the album, (obviously) comes a tour.

Due to the fact that it's already started snowing, and it's still early November, we didn't want to go crazy and tour across Canada again. So (un)fortunately, we're touring BC and Alberta.

If you can make it out to any of the shows (listed on the left hand side of the page under 'TOUR'), that would mean the world to us. The album will be for sale at all the shows, and here on this site via Paypal, provided we still have copies. Due to lack of time and other things, we could not afford to duplicate a great amount of albums. But there should be enough.

Thanks so much for reading, and I hope this email finds you all well.
Tell your friends and have a blessed Season!

Jeremy and Sheree and Kenton (Eisenhauer).

ATLANTIC CANADA TOUR!! (sort of)

Hey team mates-

How is everyone? I just wanted for you to know that we are soon starting a little tour in the lovely east coast of Canada, and we're really excited! Sheree and I fly out tomorrow morning to spend 2 weeks with my family, and than we're going to start moving around to Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Please look a little bit to your right to look at the dates, and than get on the honer and call some friends you used to know in Atlantic Canada.

Sure, there are only 5 shows... which feels wierd because we just got off a tour of 57 shows and three months of long stinky traveling. But who cares. I sure dont.

Love and peace to all-
Mr. Jeremy Eisenhauer

ps/ we're touring as a duo, not full band.

ome sweet ome

Well, as I expected, we SUCK at updating our website. Oh well. So as you all have expected, we're back in Vancouver now. For a long list of all the people we chose to thank for their love on the road, please visit our myspace blog.

Things here are slowly shaping up for future plans. We're currently recording a christmas album with Sheree Plett that will be released in late November, and there will be a couple weeks of western Canada touring with her. Than probably in November sometime, the new Eisenhauer album will start it's recording process. After playing the same songs over and over again this past summer, we're getting really excited about how all the new songs sound. So we're ready to hit the studio. Hopefully we can have some more specific updates within the next couple months.

Anyways... for now, we're laying low. We will have one or two shows in the Nova Scotia area in October. Maybe a couple gigs in PEI or New Brunswick. We'll see how things turn out. So far we've found east coasters to be terrible at replying to emails. But my dad assures that I shouldnt take this personally at all... that's just the way those people are.

Well, bless you all. Have a great labour(less) day weekend.

-Jer Eisenhauer

Welcome to the new and improved site for Eisenhauer.

The new site comes along with new news. And that news is that Eisenhauer is leaving again very soon for their third tour within the last 12 months. The band has yet to see the sights of Ontario and Quebec, but this tour they will be spending a couple weeks out that way. Be sure to look around and find out the dates that they will be in town. Support and friendship (among other things... such as food, money and places to sleep) is always something helpful for virgin ON/QC bands! Keep checking back for current touring updates, date changes/additions and stories of 3 months on the road in Canada.

Thanks a lot for stopping in- please email us and let us know what you think about the new digs!
